A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to prohibiting nudist youth camps.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 141, Health and Safety Code, is amended by adding Section 141.0095 to read as follows: Sec. 141.0095. NUDIST YOUTH CAMPS PROHIBITED; STANDARDS. A
youth camp may not operate as a nudist camp. The executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission by rule shall adopt the standards necessary to implement this section. SECTION 2. The executive commissioner of the Health and
Human Services Commission by rule shall adopt the standards required by Section 141.0095, Health and Safety Code, as added by this Act, not later than May 1, 2006.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
